Below you find the results for the scenarios as described on the page Detailed description and Scenarios
The calculation is based on so called base data. Find the explanation of the fields below
On the other hand, the data for each train running on the circle is logged in a result file. It also contains the base data of the individual train like train length, start and end point and time, as this is needed to judge the result. Find the explanation of the fields at the bottom of the page.
For the train running a quater of the circle, like from east to south, these are the Results for circle train_Freight running from East to South
For a train running the half of a circle, eg from north to south, these are the Results for a train from East to West.
For the simulation where 2 trains start at each point heading to the next and second next target, these is theĀ All train results summed up_2 Trains running from each startpoint to next and after next point and these are All train results summed up_2 Trains running from each startpoint to next and after next point
To judge the capacity of the circle the results are calculated for a run of whole day, where every half an hour 2 trains leave for the next and the second next destination during 22 hours.
The details of each run can be found in the following file
Results for all Circle trains during one day running to next 2 points; 30 min interval during
Results for each circle train to next 2 points; 30 min interval during 22h
Explanation of the fields of the result file
TrainIdentifier A unique identifier needed for the so called circle manager to identify and handle trains on the circle
StartNameĀ The name of the start point. Here North, East, South, West for simplicity.
StartDateĀ The time when the train is starting
Destination The destination point. Here North, East, South, West for simplicity.
ArrivalDate The date when the train arrives on the destination
Transportdistance The number of kilometers the train ran from start to end
Traveltime The time it took to run from start to end
Trainlength: the total length of the train (only payload, length of traction units not included)
PayLoad[tons] The total payload of the train
Total weight[tons] the total weight of the train
EnergySpent [MegaJoules] the energy spent in MegaJoules for this run
